The Wild Animal Sanctuary-Texas currently houses 7 Wolves that were rescued from illegal or abusive situations. Following each rescue operation, our Wolves are provided with individualized medical and rehabilitation care. Each Wolf is giving as much time as needed to adjust to their new home prior to be released into large acreage habitats - providing them with a forever home.

TWAS-Texas was gladly able to rescue Remus and Romulus give them a forever and loving home at our facility.
ROMULUS

DAKAR
Dakar, Chewy, Tiny, Bella, and Stella were a litter from Remus and Romulus. A no breeding policy has been implemented as part of TWAS management now working in conjunction with IEAS.
CHEWY

TINY

BELLA

STELLA
Stella, Dakar, Chewy, Tiny, and Bella were a litter from Remus and Romulus. A no breeding policy has been implemented as part of TWAS management now working in conjunction with IEAS.
Wolves can hear as far as six miles away in the forest and ten miles in the open tundra. They are often associated with traits of intelligence, sociability, and guardianship.
